Lambert hails high-flying Canaries

Norwich boss Paul Lambert praised his players after they came from behind to beat Hartlepool 2-1 and set an all-time club record of 11 straight home wins in a single season. Hartlepool stunned the home crowd by taking the lead after 26 minutes when defender Neil Austin fired home from outside the box. But the Canaries were back on level terms almost immediately when Cody McDonald headed home a Russell Martin cross. Lambert's men scored again soon after as Michael Rose marked his debut by drilling home an angled shot. Lambert, whose side sit at the top of the League One table, said: "It's down to the players. The lads have been great, they're the ones who've been doing it week in, week out. "It's not easy to keep on winning games because no-one is going to give you anything on a plate but they have kept it going. They deserve all the credit they get."
