Lambert hails high-flying Canaries

Hartlepool stunned the home crowd by taking the lead after 26 minutes when defender Neil Austin fired home from outside the box.[LNB]But the Canaries were back on level terms almost immediately when Cody McDonald headed home a Russell Martin cross. Lambert's men scored again soon after as Michael Rose marked his debut by drilling home an angled shot.[LNB]Lambert, whose side sit at the top of the League One table, said: "It's down to the players. The lads have been great, they're the ones who've been doing it week in, week out.[LNB]"It's not easy to keep on winning games because no-one is going to give you anything on a plate but they have kept it going.
