Norwich manager Paul Lambert was delighted with his side's performance after they moved up to second in the npower Championship with a 3-1 win over Bristol City. Grant Holt's 16th league goal of the season from the penalty spot inside the opening 45 seconds was cancelled out by Albert Adomah in the second half, before Henri Lansbury and Andrew Surman secured the three points for the Canaries in the last two minutes. Lambert said: "It was an excellent performance and I don't think there was any doubt we deserved to win the game. Bristol City are a good side and made it tough for us but I thought we were terrific right from the very first minute and continued where we left off at Leicester last week. "I've got good players who want to win games and if we keep the stadium rocking then we'll have a chance. Everyone's got a roll to play, the fans, the players, everybody. "It's a tremendous result for us and the lads have been terrific again. But it's nothing I haven't seen before. They always keep going right to the very end. They are a group that will always go to the final bell for you and that's a great thing to have. "They have got a great hunger and a great drive to win games. Everyone was excellent. I couldn't single anyone out."
