Lambert delighted with Canaries start

Norwich manager Paul Lambert praised his side's battling performance after two late goals saw them snatch a 2-0 victory at home to Swansea. Canaries goalkeeper John Ruddy saved David Cotterill's spot-kick with six minutes remaining and it proved the turning point as an Ashley Williams own goal and a Simeon Jackson strike made Swansea pay the penalty. Lambert said: "It was a good win against a really good side. You won't see a team who pass it like that many times in this division. "For the first 25 minutes I actually thought we were brilliant but when you're on top like that you really need a goal and unfortunately we didn't get one. "After that they came back at us and it was very difficult at times but we defended really well and showed a great spirit and never-say-die attitude to stay in the game. "We had a bit of luck but we kept going right to the end and got our reward with two late goals. Getting six points from our first three games is an excellent start, especially after losing the first one. We're still finding our feet at this level - and that will be the case for some time - but I'm delighted with how it's gone so far."
