Lambert delighted by Canaries display

Norwich manager Paul Lambert was delighted with his side's performance in the 1-1 draw with Cardiff. Jon Parkin looked to have netted the winner on his Cardiff debut until Russell Martin equalised deep into stoppage time to earn a share of the spoils for the Canaries. Lambert said: "I thought we were excellent, I really did, against a really good side. It would have been very tough on us if we hadn't got anything from the game. "The crowd were terrific as they always are and they kept pushing us on. How anyone wouldn't want to come and play here in front of them I don't know because they really do get behind us. "Having said that, it's a two-way thing and the players were excellent too. They have been top class all season and the performance levels have been consistently high. The away match at Doncaster is the only time I can really remember them dropping below the required level. I really can't praise them enough."
