After scoring a spectacular early goal with an unorthodox volley, Pericard led the line superbly and created a second vital goal for Kevan Hurst straight after half-time, which set the Cumbrians on their way to the third round for the first time in eight years.[LNB]Lambert, whose side briefly drew level thanks to Grant Holt's 16th goal of the season said: "Pericard is a handful and did well for his goal, although it was a poor one to lose from our point of view.[LNB]"It was not the greatest. We lost a goal in the second half after about 10 seconds and you can't start like that.[LNB]"We never got going, but credit to Carlisle, they were better than us on the day."[LNB][LNB]
