Lambert blasts City keeper no-show

The Australian goalkeeper inexplicably failed to turn up for the second round trip to Kent and left his side in the lurch, with Lambert only able to name four substitutes.[LNB]Norwich went on to win the game 1-0, courtesy of sub Cody McDonald's second-half strike, but Lambert was less than happy with Theoklitos.[LNB]He said: "I thought our young players did terrific but it was disappointing about the situation with Michael - he's let everyone down.[LNB]"We only had four players on the bench because of that and no substitute goalkeeper so it was the last thing we needed."[LNB]However, Lambert admitted he was delighted with his young guns and added: "Players like Cody have a great spirit and that is what we need to win games like this in a competition we would like to do well in.[LNB]"But now we've got to move on and hopefully have a few more players fit for the trip to Carlisle at the weekend."[LNB][LNB]
