Lambert angry at penalty decision

Norwich had a dream start to Monday night's League One clash at stadium:mk when Chris Martin scored from the edge of the box but a Jason Puncheon free-kick put the Dons level. Roger East then pointed to the spot for the decisive penalty after refusing first-half claims when Grant Holt appeared to be pushed by Dean Lewington. Peter Leven scored from the spot, with the match finishing 2-1 to the hosts, and Lambert said: "I thought we should have had a penalty when Grant went down so if that's not a penalty then neither is the one they got. "My lads didn't think it was a penalty but the referee wasn't very good all night. I just can't fault the effort my lads have put in and there's no way that we deserved to lose the game. It's a really tough place to come to but we've put in a performance. "We've ended the match with three 17-year-olds on the pitch and the effort of the players was extraordinary. It's taken a free-kick and a penalty to beat us and I cant ask any more from the lads."
