Killen leaves 'compassionate' Canaries

The New Zealand forward has made just four appearances for the Canaries since signing on loan in January and has fallen behind Carl Cort, David Mooney, Alan Gow and Cody McDonald in the pecking order.

Gunn told the Eastern Daily Press: "He is still contracted to us and we can call on him in the next eight games.

"But it is a convenient thing to do and a compassionate decision.

"It's better than him travelling around the country every weekend and watching from the stands."

Killen will not be able to play for Celtic during his time back in Glasgow.
