Holt ruled out of Gillingham cup clash

Holt scored twice in the 5-1 win over Bristol Rovers on Saturday to take his tally to nine for the season but will not be risked. That should see Jamie Cureton make his first start in a month while defender Michael Spillane - who came off at the weekend with a hamstring problem - is beginning a few weeks on the sidelines. Fellow right-back Jon Otsemobor remains out with a hamstring injury so Lambert may ask midfielder Stephen Hughes to fill in at full-back. Teenage goalkeeper Declan Rudd made his first league start for the Canaries on Saturday but will miss out after travelling to meet up with the England Under-19 squad in Slovenia. That means on-loan Newcastle keeper Fraser Forster will return 11 days after being shown the red card in the League One match between the two sides at Priestfield. Midfielder Darel Russell is struggling with a neck problem while striker Goran Maric (groin) is also out.
