Holt: Return to form down to hard work
Norwich skipper Grant Holt has revealed his match-winning performance at Preston was a result of going back to basics.
Holt sealed all three points for City in the 62nd minute - his first in six games - but also hit the post and the crossbar as he returned to form.
He told the club`s website: "I stripped it back and went back to basics and it worked out well. I'm just glad the team won.
"I think everyone will agree I have not been up to par in the last few games and I've been a little bit off but I thought I played well.
"It's all about working hard and I think last week I didn't work as hard as I normally can and like the manager said when I don't do that people notice.
"I stripped it back and I think the team benefited from that."
