Holt praise for Jackson

Norwich captain Grant Holt has hailed striker Simeon Jackson for his late season burst of form. The former Gillingham man went 20 games without a goal in the middle of the season but returned to hit nine goals in the last eight games to fire the Canaries to promotion. Holt said: "Everyone's pleased for him because some people have given him a lot of unfair criticism. "Every game when he's come on he's done great for us without scoring the goals earlier in the season. "As captain and an older pro I just had a word and told him to get back to doing what he does best. "He needed to play off the shoulder of the defence, he's quick and makes life difficult for centre-halves."
