Game too big for ref - Lambert

Norwich boss Paul Lambert felt the game at Reading was "too big" for a referee of Michael Oliver's age after the thrilling 3-3 draw at the Madejski. Norwich captain Grant Holt and then Lambert himself were sent-off by the 25-year-old official in a sensational game which left the Canaries manager dumbfounded. He said: "The ref never told me why I was sent off. "He said he'd tell me later so I must be going for a drink with him somewhere. How old is he. 14? "He's not old enough to be refereeing at this level. This game was far too big for him and we are not guinea pigs for an experiment. "We could be playing until 2020 and not get a decision. But it doesn't matter if you are Houdini, if you have a referee like that you have no chance."
