Dons swoop for Smith
Aberdeen have signed former Rangers left-back Steven Smith on loan from Norwich.
The 25-year-old has failed to settle at Norwich since his summer move from Ibrox with manager Paul Lambert recently revealing Smith wanted to return to Scotland.
Smith has been restricted to seven appearances for the Carrow Road club, mainly because of ankle and hip injuries.
But the Scotland B international will go straight into the squad for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash against Celtic.
Smith, who made 74 appearances for Rangers, has signed a loan deal until the end of the season.
