Doherty missed the 2-0 win over Millwall on Boxing Day through a one-game ban after picking up five bookings but he will return to the heart of the defence.[LNB]Fellow defender Jens Berthel Askou is still out with a foot injury and midfielder Korey Smith is also out with a thigh problem.[LNB]The Canaries scored their 50th league goal against the Lions and in-form midfielder Wes Hoolahan will again play behind front two Grant Holt and Chris Martin.[LNB]The trio have scored 45 goals between them in all competitions so far this season and a win at the Bescot Stadium could see the Canaries climb into the top two.[LNB]Declan Rudd (knee), Luke Daley (thigh) and Owain Tudur Jones (groin) are all still missing.[LNB]Meanwhile, Lambert hailed the contribution of midfielder Wes Hoolahan as his side made it eight home wins on the trot against the Lions.[LNB]Hoolahan scored one brilliantly taken goal and set up another for Grant Holt with a sublime piece of skill to help his side move to within two points of second-placed Charlton.[LNB]"The way he picked out Grant Holt for the second goal was world-class," said Lambert.[LNB]"He has got great awareness of what is happening around him and he'll also pick a path.[LNB]"When he's on top of his game Wes is virtually unplayable. He is someone who can make things happen and he can also score goals, that's 13 he has got for us now which is a great return at this stage of the season.[LNB]"He was brilliant but it doesn't really surprise me. It's basically the same player I saw when I signed him for Livingston all those years ago."[LNB][LNB]
