Dejan opts to leave Carrow Road
The 34-year-old joined from Fulham last summer but made just 12 appearances for the club before suffering a serious knee injury.
Manager Paul Lambert said: "Dejan made it clear he wanted to leave the club before I joined. We thank him for his efforts and wish him well for the future."
Meanwhile, the Canaries have extended the loan of Newcastle goalkeeper Fraser Forster until January 2.
