Cureton rejoined the club in 2007 but hardly featured last season in their relegation to League One. However he has started every league game since Lambert replaced Bryan Gunn as manager and is in confident mood. He said: "It's nice to be back involved. "Before the change of manager I felt I may probably have to leave to get football but I've started all three league games under Paul Lambert so it really is so far so good. "Once a new manager comes in they've got new ideas and you just hope that you're part of his plans. "I have now got to prove that I am good enough to stay in the team but it is nice to have that opportunity."
