Crofts absent for Canaries

Norwich will be without midfielder Andrew Crofts for the trip to Millwall. The Wales international salvaged a point at the weekend with his last-minute equaliser against Burnley but still found time to pick up his second yellow card of the afternoon in the dying seconds to be sent off. He will therefore serve a one-match ban at the New Den so David Fox or Matthew Gill will get a game in the middle. Left-back Stephen Smith is also missing after he picked up a hip injury at the weekend so Simon Lappin is likely to fill in with Anthony McNamee coming into the side on the wing. Fellow full-back Adam Drury is out with a calf strain which will keep him out for at least a fortnight, while central defenders Zak Whitbread and Michael Nelson (both ankle) are still sidelined. Midfielder Andrew Surman remains a casualty with a knee injury and Stephen Hughes is making good progress as he recovers from a recent ankle operation but will miss the next few games at least.
