Cash-strapped Sporting Lisbon on Saturday confirmed the sale of Dutch striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel to English Premier League side Norwich City for next season.
Norwich will pay a transfer fee of 10 million euros ($13m, £8.5m), plus a possible 2 million euros more in bonuses, Sporting said in a statement.
Sporting signed 24-year-old van Wolfswinkel from Utrecht for 5.4 million euros in June 2011 with the player going on to score 39 goals in 81 matches for the Portuguese club.
The Lisbon side, currently 10th in the domestic table, are 260 million euros in debt and are already on their third coach this season.
