City trying to tighten up - Crook
City have picked up 10 points from their last five games under Bryan Gunn and Crook believes that with further improvement at the back they can climb away from the wrong end of the table.
He said: "We've worked a lot harder on our defending and attacking set-pieces.
"There are more and more games being won and lost by how well you defend and we've worked on that.
"If we could string together three wins, that would probably get us safe.
"Even the top boys haven't been doing well of late so it's going to be a tight one but hopefully we'll have enough to save ourselves."
