City goalkeeper set for full debut

On-loan Newcastle goalkeeper Fraser Forster was sent-off for a professional foul against Gillingham on Saturday and must serve a one-match suspension so 18-year-old academy product Rudd will start. Rudd performed well after coming on at Priestfield and is expected to get the nod ahead of Michael Theoklitos - who has not featured since his disastrous debut on the opening day of the season when he shipped seven goals at home to Colchester. Right-back Jon Otsemobor picked up a hamstring injury against the Gills and will miss out but midfielder Stephen Hughes is in contention to start after coming on in his place after recovering from an Achilles problem. Defender Michael Nelson is out for another month after damaging ankle ligaments in the draw at MK Dons a fortnight ago while midfielders Matt Gill and Owain Tudur Jones remain sidelined with groin injuries.
