Lambert was earlier this week named the successor to Bryan Gunn, who was sacked just two games into the season, after he quit his post at Colchester along with Culverhouse and Karsa.[LNB]Culverhouse returns to the club as assistant manager and spent almost 10 years at Carrow Road, making 369 appearances. He was also named player of the year in the 1990-1991 season and is a member of the club's Hall of Fame. Karsa has been appointed head of football operations.[LNB]The appointments follow the resignation of Ian Butterworth as assistant manager while John Deehan has also left his position as chief scout. But Ian Crook will remain with the club as first-team coach.[LNB]Lambert told the club's official website: "It's absolutely vital to have a good team around you as manager. Ian and Gary have been with me since Wycombe Wanderers and we have worked well together and all of us can't wait to get started with our first game against Wycombe on Saturday."[LNB][LNB]
