Canaries to check on Smith

Norwich manager Paul Lambert will monitor the fitness of midfielder Korey Smith ahead of the East Anglia derby with Ipswich at Carrow Road. The 19-year-old missed the 1-1 home draw with Leeds last Saturday with an ankle injury after sustaining the problem during the 3-3 draw at Reading. But Lambert was boosted by the return of midfielder Andrew Surman against Leeds. He played 60 minutes having been sidelined since late August with a knee injury. Fellow midfielder Henri Lansbury also comes into contention after he joined on loan from Arsenal this week. However, Adam Drury, Steven Smith, Matt Gill, Stephen Hughes and Zak Whitbread remain sidelined. The Canaries have drawn their last four games and are without a win in five.
