Norwich midfielders Robert Snodgrass and Anthony Pilkington are facing "several weeks" out with injuries, manager Chris Hughton said at the club's annual general meeting on Tuesday night.

Snodgrass picked up a knee injury in the build-up to Saturday's Barclays Premier League match against Newcastle, while Pilkington was carried off on a stretcher during the 2-1 loss at St James' Park.

Record signing Ricky van Wolfswinkel, who has been sidelined since before the international break with a toe injury, also looks set to miss a couple more games, with the December 15 visit of Swansea to Carrow Road pencilled in for his comeback.

The club revealed via their official Twitter account on Tuesday evening: "Hughton has confirmed at agm that Robert Snodgrass (knee) and Anthony Pilkington (hamstring) will be out for 'several weeks' with injuries.

"Boss also says van Wolfswinkel target for return to contention is Swansea game."
