Canaries open to January sales

The Canaries do not expect to lose any first-team players but may allow the likes of Simon Whaley, Goran Maric and Paul McVeigh to move on for first-team football elsewhere.[LNB]McNally said: "Firstly, and most importantly, there are no plans to sell any players in January.[LNB]"However, there may be fringe players leaving the club during this period. If the club does receive any offers for first team players, these offers will be considered by Paul Lambert and the board.[LNB]"Clearly Paul may decide to trade because he knows he will be allowed to re-invest any monies received into his squad.[LNB]"We recognise that Paul does need help in strengthening the current squad. I can assure you that Paul thinks carefully and deeply about his squad needs and the board will do all we can to support him in an effort to be as competitive as possible, week in, week out. That being said, we don't have millions of pounds to spend and we will have to live within our means."[LNB][LNB]
