Canaries load Gunn for League One

The Canaries were relegated from the Championship earlier this month after former goalkeeper Gunn replaced Glenn Roeder in January. Gunn failed to save the Carrow Road outfit from the drop after 19 games in charge but has an opportunity to restore their fortunes along with fellow club stalwarts Butterworth, who was confirmed as assistant manager in February and Crook as first- team coach a month earlier. The trio made 1,188 appearances for the club between them and Gunn told the club's official website: "With League One football, it was important that the board decided what the management team was going to be. "I'm absolutely delighted that they have chosen myself, Ian Butterworth and Ian Crook to take the club forward. "We are all looking forward to the challenges of League One, and we are all bitterly disappointed with what happened last season. "Now is the time to look forward and prepare for what is a very important season." Coca Cola League 1 2009 -2010 Win Outright: Norwich 7/1
