Canaries in a flap after defeat

Bees defender Ryan Dickson broke the deadlock with a near-post header shortly after the break and midfielder David Hunt added a second with an unstoppable free-kick from the edge of the area. Owain Tudur-Jones grabbed an injury-time consolation for the visitors, who threatened only in flashes. Butterworth said: "Two minutes of slack defending and lapses in concentration have cost us dear. "The smallest bloke on the pitch got up to head them in front and the free-kick went straight through the wall. "To be honest I thought we'd done enough in the first half to go in ahead but you have to take your chances at this level and credit to Brentford, they did."
