Canaries boss aiming to stay on

The Canaries face Reading on Monday night with their Championship status hanging by a thread but club legend Gunn is keen to extend his deal as boss regardless of the outcome.[LNB]Speaking to the Eastern Daily Press, he said: "I am manager of the football club and I would hope to be manager of the football club next season as well.[LNB]"I still want the job (if Norwich are relegated). I'd want the job no matter what."[LNB]The former Scotland international goalkeeper also has extra incentive to remain in the job following Thursday's announcement that Roy Keane has taken over at local rivals Ipswich.[LNB]"I think obviously that was big news in the region," he added. "The great thing for Norwich City is we can be playing against them next season and competing against their whatever it may be investment and the influx of new players they will no doubt have and the budget he will be playing with. So my hope is I will be coming up against him."[LNB][LNB]
