Askou has been missing from the first-team picture since mid-December with a broken metatarsal but has now made two reserve outings as he nears a return to boss Paul Lambert's squad.[LNB]Askou told the club's official website: "Physically I feel fit and I don't feel anything from my injury so that's a good sign and it's just up to the gaffer now to judge when I'm ready for him.[LNB]"There's great competition, we have a very strong squad and it's difficult to get back in the team. But that's just good for the team and for the club that there's plenty of good players to cover when something happens.[LNB]"There's still a lot of games to go so we'll be needing everybody. We need to get that promotion secured. If I'm going to be a part of that from now on or not that's not the main thing.[LNB]"The main thing is to get the club up in the Championship and hopefully from a personal perspective I'm hoping to get back in at some point and be part of it again."[LNB][LNB]
