Northwich Victoria's new manager Shaun Teale has vowed to use all of his experience to try and guide the club to safety in the Nationwide Conference.

Teale saw his charges lose 4-0 at home to Forest Green Rovers in his first game in charge, but believes that the fight to avoid the drop is far from over.

He told BBC Sport Online: "I have played in just about every league possible. I know what it takes in most leagues and I will try and pass that on to the players.

"I didn't hesitate when I got the phone call and it's great to be back in management. I've missed it badly over the last three months.

"We have got 19 games left and we need to start picking up points. We need to stop conceding goals, pick up the odd point away from home and win our homes games.

"If we can get the personnel in that I want, I'm confident of trying to do that."
