Watson handed Town trial

Northampton Town have handed a trial to experienced midfielder Kevin Watson.
The 34-year-old is a free agent after leaving Colchester United and is hoping to impress Cobblers boss Stuart Gray during pre-season at Sixfields.
Gray told the club's official website: "He's a good old head who can sit in midfield and these couple of days he's got with us will allow us to have a good look at him and vice versa.
"He's got a decent pedigree and a good playing background, but ultimately now the ball is in his court.
"I've always said I've wanted an older head in midfield, but whether that will be Kevin or someone else we will have to wait and see."
