Crawley's continued involvement in the FA Cup means a free weekend for Northampton

Aidy Boothroyd may be frustrated at the stop-start nature of the past few weeks but will be pleased to bed in further his new signings and build on the encouraging victory over AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night.

That win was not enough to haul the Cobblers off the bottom of League Two but it did bring them level on points with both Dagenham & Redbridge and Plymouth Argyle.

Both those sides are in action on Saturday against Cheltenham at home and Accrington away respectively.
