Walker extends Sixfields stay

Sheffield United defender Kyle Walker will remain on loan at Northampton Town until the end of the month.

The 18-year-old has been on loan at Sixfields since mid-November but his initial spell with the Cobblers expired after Saturday's 1-0 victory against Carlisle United.

Walker has failed to make a first-team appearance for the Blades but has featured in seven games for Stuart Gray's side.

Town are currently 12th in the League One table.
