Trialist nets in Northampton win

The Cobblers ended their pre-season training camp in Croatia with a 6-1 friendly win against Novigrad

Striker Jake Robinson, who has vowed to fight for his place at Sixfields in the coming season, netted a hat-trick while there was also a goal for trialist Michael Hoganson.

Hoganson, released by Newcastle United at the end of last season is described on his profile on the official Newcastle website as 'an attack-minded full-back who can also play on the left-wing.'
