Northampton Town chairman David Cardoza says his club already have a quality replacement for striker Andy Kirk in their sights.
Northern Ireland international Kirk has left Sixfields to join League One rivals Yeovil Town, but Cardoza says that Cobblers fans should not be too worried.
He told the Northampton Chronicle: "We have a number one target who we are very interested in, but it's one that might take some time to pull off.
"We've got a plan in place to get someone and if we could get him then that would be terrific.
"Everyone will be happy if we can pull it off. They will see why we have done what we've done this month."
