Town agree Hubertz deal

Northampton Town boss Stuart Gray is delighted to have agreed a deal to sign Millwall's Danish striker Poul Hubertz.

The 30-year-old will pen a 12-month deal with the Cobblers once he has passed a medical, having netted 11 goals in 39 appearances for the Lions last season.

Gray told the club's official website: "With Poul Hubertz joining us we have now got a real physical presence in the side which is good.

"Poul knows this league well having been with Millwall last season and I think he is a really good addition to our squad.

"We are going to have to work on his fitness a little bit because he hasn't played much during pre-season, but he can hold the ball up well and he is a real presence for us up front."
