Thornton agrees Sixfields stay

Former Coventry City midfielder Kevin Thornton has put pen to paper on a new deal that will keep him at the Sixfields Stadium until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old has made three substitute appearances for the Cobblers since agreeing a month-to-month contract with Ian Sampson in January.
"Kevin's done well and has impressed us," said Sampson of a player who had been with Nuneaton since leaving the Sky Blues at the end of last season.
"He's earned his longer contract. He knows he has plenty of hard work ahead of him, but I think he's making good progress and we're delighted he'll be staying with us."
