Taylor dejected at Cobblers defeat

Boss Peter Taylor could not hide his disappointment after seeing Bradford come away empty handed from Northampton.Billy Mckay opened the scoring in the 61st minute, before Ben Tozer wrapped things up nine minutes from time, much to the dismay of Taylor, who claimed his troops made it too easy for the Cobblers. "I'm very unhappy and disappointed about our performance," said Taylor. "I thought we would have the legs on Northampton after they took Liverpool to extra time in midweek. But that wasn't the case and we've made it an easy afternoon for them."The longer the game went on I thought we'd have a better chance of winning it because I thought Northampton would tire. But even when we gained possession we gave the ball away too easily and both goals were terrible ones to concede."Both my centre backs missed the ball from the free kick for the opening goal and Billy McKay is not the biggest player around but he still managed to win the ball in the air for the second goal."It's even more disappointing after the way we played against Gillingham last week and I'm just amazed how badly we played today."
