Paul Turnbull has rejoined former club Stockport County on a month's loan

Having left Edgeley Park for Sixfields just last summer Turnbull looks to be surplus to requirements for new Northampton manager Aidy Boothroyd.

At the time of his move he told BBC Radio Northampton: "I've had ten years at Stockport and I needed a change to move on with my career."

"I wanted to stay in the Football League so it was hard to turn down."
