Rodgers to stay with Cobblers

Defender Paul Rodgers has extended his loan spell at Northampton Town until the end of the season.

The teenage Arsenal defender joined the Cobblers at the end of January and has made two appearances - earning a red card in his last against Colchester United.

"Paul has a lot of potential and I'm sure there is a lot more to come from him," said manager Stuart Gray.

"He has settled in well here and we are grateful to Arsenal for allowing him to stay until the end of the season."
