Oxford trip next for Cobblers

Northampton face Oxford City on Tuesday night Gary Johnson will be looking for his side to step up a gear from Saturday's opening pre-season fixture at Brackley as they face another Southern League Premier side. Court Place Farm is the venue for a 7:45pm kick-off before the friendlies get serious with two home games at Sixfields against Championship opposition in Nottingham Forest and Reading.
