Northampton give up on Akinfenwa

Northampton Town boss Ian Sampson says striker Adebayo Akinfenwa has failed to sign a new contract with the club.The 28-year-old was set a deadline of 19 May to decide whether to commit to a new deal at the Sixfields Stadium. Sampson told BBC Radio Northampton: "We need to move on and concentrate on getting other players in. "I don't know if it'll be a good decision for him.
