The Cobblers game against Macclesfield was one of many postponements on Saturday afternoon
A frozen pitch at Sixfields put paid to the fixture on a day when only one League Two game survived the treacherous conditions.
In that fixture Plymouth Argyle fought back from two goals down to earn a draw against Southend and move a point further away from Northampton at the foot of the table.
A huge relegation six-pointer now awaits the Cobblers against third-bottom Dagenham & Redbridge next Saturday.
