McGleish ponders Town stay
12 Nov 2008 - 16:33:31
Northampton Town loan striker Scott McGleish admits he is not sure where his long-term future lies.
The 34-year-old is back with the Cobblers for a second spell, having fallen out of favour at Wycombe Wanderers, and found the net in the 1-1 FA Cup first round draw with Leeds United last Friday.
However, McGleish is content to just take things as they come for the time being, telling the Northampton Chronicle: "Right now, I have enjoyed myself for the past week or so and I want to be playing where I enjoy myself.
"I haven't enjoyed my last month or so at Wycombe, but I have enjoyed the previous 18 months there, as I enjoyed my two-and-a-half-years with Northampton.
"It is a tough one, but I just want to keep enjoying my football for as long as possible. If that is with the Cobblers, then all well and good."
