Johnson signs new Cobblers deal

John Johnson has agreed a one year deal, with an option for a further year at Sixfields

Praising the 23-year-old as a 'competitor', Northampton boss Aidy Boothroyd told the official club website he was delighted to see Johnson sign a new deal.

He also challenged the former Middlesbrough man to improve on the ability he has shown on his career to date and achieve a consistent level of performance.
