Irvine named manager of the month

Sheffield Wednesday boss Alan Irvine has been named the Championship's manager of the month for January.Irvine only took over at Hillsborough at the start of the month and led the Owls to four wins from five games. Cardiff manager Dave Jones, Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies and Nigel Adkins, of Scunthorpe, were also shortlisted for the award.
