Gray promises to battle on

Beleaguered Northampton Town manager Stuart Gray is adamant that he is not about to quit the club. A bad run of form has left the Cobblers in the League One relegation zone and Gray knows his team is struggling. He said: "The be-all and end-all is that I've got a contract here until 2010. "If the chairman wants to make a decision about my future it's up to him but, at the moment, I'm 100 per cent committed to turning things around. "There's pressure on us, there's pressure for us to stay in this division and sometimes certain lads react differently to pressure and mistakes creep into their game."
