Northampton Town boss Stuart Gray will bide his time before bolstering his squad with some players on loan from Premier League clubs.
Gray confirmed that trialist Ramon Manak will not be offered a contract at Sixfields following the club's training camp in Ibiza but that he is looking to land some talent from the top-flight.
"I think we've got a nice balance in the team in terms of left and right footers, we probably just need to bring in two or three more players," he told the club's official website.
"It is still very early days in terms of who the Premiership teams are going to let go out on loan but, like I've said before, I will only bring players in that will improve this football club.
"You are always looking and you want that competition for places so that the players in the team know that if they don't produce they will be out of the team because someone else will be waiting in the wings to take their place."
