Terry Brown feels the Cobblers may be in a false position

Tuesday night's game between Town and AFC Wimbledon at Sixfields marks a return to competitive action for both sides following recent postponements.

It also means a first chance for Aidy Boothroyd to include recent signings Clarke Carlisle and Brett Williams, players that Dons boss Brown thinks will improve the home side.

He told the official AFC Wimbledon website: "Owing to the recent cancellations, we haven't really been able to see their team or formation over the past two weeks.

"Looking at the quality of players they have brought in there is no doubt they will be making a concerted push up the table."
