Deadline Championship interest in Cobblers midfielder

Blackpool have reportedly had an offer rejected for Michael Jacobs

With the transfer window closing on Tuesday the Seasiders are keen on adding to their ranks and 20-year-old Jacobs seemingly fits Ian Holloway's bill.

Northampton though see Jacobs as vital to their hopes of retaining Football League status and Sky Sports is reporting that an offer from Bloomfield Road has been turned down.
